Course Goals & Requirements

This course will provide the current understanding of immunological, immunopharmacologic, and immunotoxicologic principles.  Terms, concepts, and pathways will be emphasized to permit the student to read and understand current immunology literature.  The problem based learning exercises are designed to have the student apply the immunological principles to clinical and research questions.  Lecture notes and Powerpoint presentations will be provided at each lecture.  All examination materials will be from the notes and lecture materials.   Class participation and attendance is required.
